Resources
There's a wide range of interest and experience in our group. Brief bios of some of the members appear here, as well as a survey of some of our favorite tools. We're happy to help with security questions, from usage of well known tools to specifics of various fields in the information security arena. Our interests are varied, but include the following:
- Forensics
- Cryptography (hardware and software)
- Operating Systems
- Penetration Tests
- Audits
- Security management / operations
- Various security-related wireless features
- Honeypots/Honeynets
Most requests for help should have some evidence that the person asking has already used the usual sources (such as books, man pages, and search engines).
Major vendor patches, and tools we like. Here is a useful site we recommend.
